We encourage our guests to come with supplies for a day on the river. There are many great places to stop along the way and you can take as much time as you want enjoying the river. Small to Medium sized coolers are best for riding on laps in the shuttles and for fitting in boats. All of the boats have some space for coolers or bags, Kayaks have the least, Tandem Kayaks and Canoes have more. GLASS IS NOT ALLOWED ON THE RIVER.

Our guests are welcome to cancel their reservation for any reason and at any time. 100% Refund if you have pre-paid, no questions asked. Simply give us a call or text and let us know you will not be making it. We are also happy to reschedule your trip for another day or time. In the case of inclement weather we are also very flexible and work together with you to make a calculated decision on if it is wise to go or delay the trip.

From May to September we are open 7 days a week.
Everyday we have multiple start times to choose from. See the reservation calendar for available start times. If you prefer to not book online you may call to book.
There are no set “end times” as you end only a 2 minute ride back to where you are parked. We do need all paddlers off the water before the sun starts to set.

This trip is perfect for all experience levels. There are no rapids and guests receive a safety orientation and personal flotation devices (life jackets). The one thing to watch out for when planning a trip on the St. Croix is a strong south wind which can make the paddle much more challenging.

Yes! You will still need a reservation and come to us to check in 15 minutes before your time. From that point you will need 2 cars, one parked at the end (Osceola Landing, no fee) and the other will drive your party to the start (Wisconsin Interstate Park Boat Launch, sticker or day pass required).

There is not one simple answer to this question. We like to say 2-3 adults. All of our canoes have 2 seats, often a third person will ride in the middle on the bottom of the boat. With small children it is possible to up to 5 in a canoe (2 adults and 3 small children). Keep in mind that there are 2 seats, one in front and one in back, and all other paddlers will be riding on the floor in the middle.

No, if you are not also renting from us. If you are a rental customer we can usually work out a way to make your day easy and fun. Please call ahead to discuss the details. Our prices are the best around and we make the day tremendously worry free, you may choose to leave that old canoe behind the garage and use one of ours 😉
